British Salt have sponsored the redesign of this web site and provided a founder Trustee in 1993. Richard Hamlett was a founder Trsutee and the first Chairman of Trustees. He was a former Administration Manager at British Salt. British Salt also assist the Trust through the supply of unrefined brine from its controlled brine pumping site which enables us to make salt during our demonstration days and heritage salt making experiments.
